Ok…actually finished the anniversary chart yesterday, sent it for approval-GOT IT-and will be paid soon. Probably this weekend.
Now, I’m going to begin work on some bookmarks for another commission. No rush on this one-won’t need them til Jan/Feb. 
Going to get them cut to size this afternoon and see if actual stitching will begin.

Been kinda in a funk, so haven’t accomplished as much as I would’ve liked to. 
I did buy some newer software, Cross Stitch Made Simple, on ebay.com and its pretty cool. Has some neat features that the freeware doesn’t. I think my biggest issue w/it is that it doesn’t have options to set your pattern size and get a good print preview. GRRR. I’m still playing with it, so maybe I’ll find a decent compromise to do what I want.
I do have another commission that I’m working on(a 25th anniversary sampler) and its coming along OK. Having a hard time getting motivated to work on it the last week/so. BTW, I’ve put www.coatclosetdesigns.etsy.com in vacation mode for awhile until I get some things ready.
Got some ideas to try and make some $$ over the summer since my day job hours will be shorter b/c the college kids will be gone. Will post that info next month, I think. Peak your interest any?? LOL.
Well, think I’m gonna get off here and relax a bit this evening.
