Well…its cold here in TX!!  Yes, it does get cold here and we occasionally get some snow in WTX.  Our weather changes almost every 15min, so it could be 70 tomorrow.

Been working steadily on the 5 bookmark order and the princess bookmark is almost finished.    Plan to finish that one today and start one of the others.  The princess one was the most complicated of the 5, so the others should just fly!!

My thumb is getting better (YEA!!) and I think my arms are just sore from being the car over Thanksgiving.  Weird, right??

Think I’m going to finish my networking stuff and get my stitching done.

Got some stitching done on the princess bookmark this week, but had to stop for awhile b/c I’ve apparently strained my right thumb muscles.  ???  Its feeling better, so maybe I’ll get some stitching done on the drive home.

I’ve officially completed 15 of the 30 mini-bookmarks!!  YEA!!  {bowing to applause}  “Thank you!!  Thank you!!”

Anyways!!  I’ve been working hard stitching lately.  I did finish stitching the last of the blue mini-bookmarks, so I just need to put the backings on.  YEA!!  I have 15 green mini-bookmarks to finish by Jan/Feb (pray and keep your fingers crossed).  Also, my charts at www.patternsonline.com are selling well, but I’d LOVE for some more to be purchased!!

I’ve started stitching on the 1st of the 5 newest bookmarks and its coming along quite nicely.  SO needed a break from the minis.  Got REALLY tired of looking at that chart!!  LOL.  Gotta get these 5 done before Christmas, so I’m stitching every chance I get.

Next week is our youngest son’s 7th bday (WOW!!) and Thanksgiving, so it’ll be a crazy, but fun, week.

Well, I’ve gotten all my networking/biz stuff done for today, so I think its time to get some stitching done.  Wish me luck!!

Thank you God for giving protection to all our troops and giving them courage to do what’s right.

Today marks 2yrs that I’ve had a blog describing my adventure of starting Coat Closet Designs!!  YEA!! 

Took some time to look at the archives and you can REALLY see how God has been working w/me in what He’s called me to do.  Pretty amazing stuff.

I’ve completed the zombie bookmark-a picture’s coming, I promise.  I also have another order for 5 bookmarks that I hope to finish before Xmas!!  My patterns are selling OK on www.patternsonline.com .  Not as many are selling since I’m not listed on the front page anymore.    Guess I’ll just keeping trying to send people there and see what God will do.  Got alot of ideas to try out, but kinda hard w/having the orders that I NEED to complete first, but that’s ok.  I’m planning to sign up for a bookmark finishing class and learn some new techniques to make my bookmarks better-Guess I’d better do that now while I’m thinking about it. 

Off to sign up for class, finish designing that last bookmark and start planning out the stitching aspect!!
